Air is an ethereal Element. It can't be grabbed or held, though it can be felt. You can't hear air, only the side effect of it passing around objects like trees. We humans are visually biased. We like to see what we're working with, and generally, you can't see air.
This makes the Element of Air one of the more difficult Elements to begin working with.
